My Inaugural Speech

January 22nd, 2009

My fellow Americans:

I cannot thank you enough for the willingness you had to elect me as your next president. I would also like to thank George Bush for dong such a notable job as a leader of our country. I stand here today to of course thank you for your trustworthiness and to address the issues we are having in this country. Global warming is becoming a major problem in the world now. Animals are dying from lack of frigid weather. I will personally make sure that if not in the Arctic, those animals have somewhere cold to keep them alive. Next, I’m sure we are all aware of the difficulties most middle-class Americans are facing. The economy is rapidly heading in an unsatisfactory direction. I will make sure all jobs are restored to people of our country and healthcare is made much more affordable. And last but certainly not least, violence will not be tolerated in any form. Crimes such as abuse or murder will result in a lifetime in jail. The way our world is today nobody can be trusted, and letting a criminal out of jail is just too risky. Crimes such as theft will result in a five year sentence. If we can make these changes, we can most definitely change the world. Together we can achieve anything as long as we persevere and not take the shortcuts through life. I thank you and peace to all.

What’s your Back-Up Plan?

January 22nd, 2009

We all have dreams that we would like to fulfill. Some of us want to be singers, some models, some doctors, some lawyers, and even maybe a scientist. But I want to know what you plan to do if these things can’t happen. What is your back-up plan? Are you going to be a waitress or waiter at a restaurant? A museum curator? A receptionist at a hair salon? Tell me, I want to know! If I really like your answer and it shows uniqueness, I will put your name in my blogroll and write a post about your blog! So comment! BYeezz loves!

Wife Begs for Mercy for her Husband

January 8th, 2009

Felix Batista disappeared from a Mexican restaurant December 10. Wife, Lourdes Batista believes he was kidnapped by two criminals. She begged for her husband’s freedom at a news conference in Miami, Florida. Batista doesn’t understand why anyone would do this, because of how kind her husband is. The Batistas have five children, two of which attended the conference, but didn’t speak a word. Felix Batista has yet to be found, and the police have yet to determine whether or not it was indeed a kidnapping.

I’m Gonna Be a BraceFace! OH mY!

January 7th, 2009

Hey everyone! Well I went to the orthodontist today and I had impressions taken. They were gross, but I toughed it out. They definitely weren’t as bad as everyone said they were, but the clay got stuck in my teeth and on the roof of my mouth and it was pretty gross. Also, I had spacers put in between my molars, so my teeth are in serious pain right now. They hurt so bad. I took an Advil a while ago hopefully it will start helping. Anyway, I’m getting my braces on Wednesday, January 14th. I have to take a pill that dries my mouth out 30 minutes before my appointment so I’m not drooling everywhere when he’s putting on my braces! If my mouth is sore now, I can’t imagine how bad it’s gonna feel when I get the braces on! I’m gonna be sitting in a chair for 2 1/2 hours! That’s so irritating. I’m not a very patient person. Anyway wish me luck I hope my teeth don’t feel this bad in the morning! Don’t forget to comment! Bye!

The Quality of My Life is Determined by…

January 6th, 2009

Hey everyone. Okay, so this guy Bill Genereux posted a question on Twitter. Mr. Bogush found it and decided to make us finish the sentence and make a post out of it, so here is what I think: “The quality of my life is determined by the quality of my IMAGINATION!” If you have a strong and powerful imagination, you will live life to the fullest!

One deep thought I had…

January 2nd, 2009

One deep thought that I had over vacation was how we sometimes don’t realize how lucky we have it. On Christmas morning I woke up, went straight to my stocking with my sister, and we took out everything we got. But yet we don’t get extremely excited about it, where as a kid in an orphanage would have given anything to be with a family on Christmas and have someone to be with them who cared. We all expect presents on Christmas day, so we go to our tree and sure enough there is a bunch of wrapped boxes sitting under the tree waiting to be torn open. This is regular routine for most of us every year. We don’t think about the people who have nothing and who feel so bad because they have no money to buy their children anything for Christmas. When they finally get a little money to buy their kids something it is usually only one little thing that would probably be trivial to us, but an amazing gift to the child. I was expecting everyone to have a great Christmas like me, but as I logged onto Wikispaces and opened the mail from someone who said they spent their Christmas in a hospital it was very sad to listen to and made me realize how lucky I am and how lucky everyone else is to spend Christmas with your family. It is also very important to remember that Christmas isn’t all about receiving, it’s all about giving. Even though some people in the world are poor and they don’t have any money to buy things with, they are happy because they love eachother and that is all that counts.

Wow this is hard.

January 2nd, 2009

Alright so I have to write a post with 150 characters or less which is extremely hard. I tend to ramble. So here goes: Why is it that you park in the driveway, but you drive on the parkway? Hmmm

(woooh i did it… does this count?)

Riddles!

December 18th, 2008

Hey! I managed to look up some really good riddles, so I’m gonna post them on here and you can comment back with the answers or anything else you wanted to say! Thanks!

1) Two Police officers were investigating a mysterious death. When they arrived at the scene of the crime they found a room with no windows and the dead man who seemed to have hung himself by a rope from the ceiling. There was no chair or table that the man may have jumped off. The only clue was a puddle of water on the floor. How did he manage to hang himself?

2) Late one evening, a man and his wife were driving a car at speed down a country road. The car spun off the road and hit a tree. The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away. He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all of the windows up, and locked all the doors. When he returned, his wife was dead,  and there was someone in the car he had never seen before. No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked. How did the woman die? Where did the stranger come from?

Thanks to Quazen for these riddles!

3) I am not alive, but I grow: I don’t have lungs, but I need air; I don’t have a mouth, but water kills me. What am I?

Thanks to Tricky Riddles for this riddle!

If you do good with these, I will post more!

Which era would you have preferred to live in?

December 2nd, 2008

Hey guys! I would have to say I would rather live in the “yourish” era, as Mr. Bogush puts it. I like how our world is right now, not including the economy problem. We have so much more stuff than my mother and grandmother did. My grandmother said that when she was in school, teachers were allowed to hit children, whcih is absolutely forbidden now. My mom also said that when she was in school the teachers weren’t hitting the kids too much, but they would hit kids on the knuckles with rulers every once in a while when they misbehaved. She said that one time a kid didn’t feel well and the teacher wouldn’t let him go to the nurse, so he threw up in his desk and the teacher made him clean it out! Yuck! My mom said she was the meanest teacher she had ever had. Her name was Sister Vincent. I also asked them what the food was like when they were little, and they sort of looked at me strange. Hahaha. Then I explained that it was one of the topics I researched and I had to ask them about it. Obviously, food hasn’t changed much, except for the fact that more foods high in sugar and high fructose corn syrup is entering the world, and is the cause of unhealthy kids. My mother and grandparents both told me that their parents used to make them eat food they didn’t like, like liver! Ick! That’s about it, don’t forget top comment!!
